Tell me – Intervention in the garden of Turia

My work assembles the fragments of the city into a whole and in the end results in a representation of the pandemic city from an inside perspective of the individuals.
The garden of turia is a fundamental part of the city of valencia and combines different zones along its dimension. I made the second and third interventions in this area because I wanted to operate in a different area, partly because of my own interest in exploring the residents’ willingness to interact with my intervention and partly because the garden also seemed suitable in its content of elaborating the sub-areas of the bank and the park.
The garden is used to play sports, to gather, to relax, and therefore has a hybrid character as a place of lingering and crossing and seemed promising to harvest responses.
First I worked out signs, stickers and small pieces of wood with Qr codes, which I then distributed in the park, with some consolidations to attract attention. The QR codes lead to 2 different surveys. One to the survey “cuéntame tus sueños”(purple) and the other to the survey “¿Qué tal tu día?” (orange).
Together they are subcategories of the intervention “Dime”, which is related to the works of the areas “The Garden”, “The Bank” and “The Park”.
The work was intended to be a contribution to the intervention “Como estas?” and to broaden the scope of the individual’s reflection.
