Fake Maps

14 collage photographs of Los Alcázares, all of them composed of a photograph taken from google maps – where the inscription of the street can be seen – and a photograph taken by the artist in the same place and looking for a perspective as similar as possible.

The intention is to allude to the reliability of what is published on the internet. Google maps seems to show the truth of our surroundings, but when we go out into the street many things are not as they seem to be. The pace of urbanisation is much faster than the pace of technology.
Changes can be observed in homes, nature and people.
