Sk8 Art Track

The work is a photomontage of the customization of the modules of the pump track of Nazaret, a skate spot located in the suburbs of Valencia. It is a work that aims to show the potential of artistic intervention in the wasteland, and allows to imagine the skateboard as a means of artistic intervention in public space. The existing works of street art are embedded, forming a set of simulations that allow changing the open space. With large brushstrokes, the street artists metamorphose the structure into a true work of outdoor art. It is a work that reveals the full potential of these skateparks that are often found in forgotten corners of the city.
