Villena (Alicante), 1999.
Social criticism, animal abuse or feelings such as loneliness and emptiness are the topics that are repeated the most within my artistic practice, topics that show my vision about life, reality or society.
I work in an interdisciplinary way, mixing a lot of techniques, but especially collage and drawing, having a wide range of possibilities during my work both together and separately also. Other than that, I am also interested in other techniques such as engraving, mainly linked to stamping, painting, a more watery stain, in the case of watercolors, and a more delicate, smug stain, closer to academicism, in the case of oil, scenography, installations or performance.
I’m interested in society, mostly linked to the aspect of how different circumstances affect, for example, how drugs affect or how loneliness affects; I am also interested in portraits, mostly linked to the female face, films, filth, violence, the grotesque, the night, I am interested in the human body from a sexual and carnal point of view; mythology, politics and questions about the identity or nature of art.
