Celia Álvarez de la Iglesia

Celia Álvarez de la Iglesia is an artist emigrated from Extremadura who lives in Valencia to develop creatively in the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Universitat Politècnica.

Her interest lies in all forms of urban art and the multidisciplinary challenge where ideas are adapted to the forms. He is interested in the evolution of the present in issues related to precariousness, women and social struggle and the dimension of the past as heritage, seeking a reconciliation with its roots within a tendency to look outside but always returning to the root and origin.
