Lucía Rúa

Lucía Rúa was born in the rural area of Compostela in 1996, into a labor family. She spent her youth during the 2008 crisis, a period of social conflict in which her activist interests were born. After beginning his studies in Law, after a long process of indecision he decided to go to Pontevedra to begin studying Fine Arts.

Later, almost by mistake, he continued his studies in Valencia where, after a slow process of adaptation to the place and being abroad, he focused his interests on painting.

Currently his work revolves around youth issues such as job insecurity, hyperconnectivity… He has exhibited in group exhibitions such as La escucha errante, at the Azkuna in Bilbao or Trayectos, at the UPV.
